Welcome to the American Academy of Family Physicians’ (AAFP) FMX On Demand self-study curriculum. This activity is part of an overall curricular framework focused on topics of vital importance for family physicians. Like all AAFP-produced CME, it is evidence-based, free from influence, and developed by family physicians.

Instructions and CME Credit Information

The 2023 AAFP Family Medicine Experience (FMX) On Demand Self-Study Package is approved for up to 149.00 AAFP Prescribed credits. To obtain CME credit for this enduring material, view the presentations, claim credit and complete the evaluation for each session before 10/27/2025. 

Credit Statement: 

The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) has reviewed 2023 FMX On Demand and deemed it acceptable for up to 149.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 10/28/2023 to 10/27/2025.

Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The AAFP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Academy of Family Physicians designates this Enduring Materials for a maximum of 149.00 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™.

Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.

AAFP Members

AAFP members are eligible to receive AAFP Prescribed credits and AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. On completion of the online session and evaluation, the credits will be added to the member’s CME record. 

Nonmembers

Nonmember physicians are eligible to receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ on completion of the online post-test and evaluation. Nonmember physicians are responsible for reporting their own AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ when applying for the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award or other certificates or credentials. Healthcare professionals who are not physicians are eligible to receive credits on completion of the online post-test and evaluation and a Letter of Participation. These individuals are responsible for providing these documents to their professional organizations.
